For students graduating 1st-3rd grade in ’25-‘26 school year (curriculum ranges 2nd-5th grade)

The ability to interpret the overall theme of a text is a vital skill for students to acquire in order to gain a deeper conceptual understanding of a given text. Spend a week reading and analyzing some of the most famous mythological stories and legends of all time! Students will explore mythology and legends from a variety of different cultures and study the art of determining themes; as well as creating concise thematic statements. Learn to see the broader picture and uncover deeper meaning within classical literature!

Prereq’s: Students need to be reading at or above grade level and be comfortable with taking a part in respectful class discussions.
