In this week-long summer course, students will dive into the world of storytelling by reading a variety of texts and excerpts from novels. They will analyze the plots, characters, and themes to develop a deep understanding of the stories. Using their comprehension skills, students will craft their own endings for the novels, aiming to align with the author’s intended conclusion. The week concludes with an exciting contest where students who closely match the author’s original ending will win special prizes, celebrating their insight and creativity!
Prereq’s: Students should be avid readers and enjoy creative writing!
