Do you love coming up with creative solutions to challenging problems? Not just small problems, mind you—but REAL world problems! We are looking for World Changers in this class! Students will conduct research to learn more about a real world issue, collaborate to create an innovative solution, consider possible barriers to the implementation of their solution, and evaluate their final product. By incorporating STEM activities, students will build knowledge and skills to solve problems, make sense of information, and know how to gather and evaluate evidence to make intelligent decisions.
Prereq’s: Students should enjoy problem-solving, be able to persist through challenges, and work well in groups.
