For students graduating 1st-2nd grade in ‘18-’19 school year

This class will stretch your brain to turn everyday objects into a whole new creation! We will be doing different STEM challenges with the incorporation of technology throughout this course while using various materials such as toothpicks, plastic cups, popsicle sticks, paper plates, Legos, pipe cleaners, Playdoh, etc. Challenges may include: build an animal shelter, tree fort, house, maze, bridge, etc. During this course students will not only be required think outside the box but work together as a team to complete different challenges! Get ready to have some fun and stretch your brain through thought-provoking invention!
Prereq’s: Student’s writing skills should be at or above grade level. The ability to work well with others and be open to new ideas in order to find common ground is necessary for this course as well.
