For students graduating 4th-5th grade in ’22-‘23 school year (curriculum ranges 6th-8th grade)

Throughout this course students will be analyzing and dissecting short stories to develop an understanding of the theme. Students will explore various versions and retellings of short stories, analyzing the structure, use of figurative language and specific literary elements to identify how the theme has evolved. Students will create book trailers to allow the theme to come to life!

Prereq’s: Students need to be reading and writing at or above grade level, have experience
working with technology, and be flexible thinkers.
