For students graduating 2nd-3rd grade in ’22-‘23 school year (curriculum ranges 4th-5th grade)

Young scientists will explore the world of forensics through fun and interactive activities and will focus on the Habit of Mind, “questioning and posing problems”. This disposition encourages inquiry strategies which allow thinkers to collect data, ponder, and engage in thought provoking detective work! Students have the opportunity to learn about fingerprinting, hair, fiber, and handwriting analysis. With the use of forensic investigation, students will become successful sleuths.

Prereq’s: Students should be reading at or above grade level, be naturally inquisitive, and be comfortable with questioning and challenges.
